EXPERIENCE
NET at Hon Wah College: -full time September 2018 to present. Duties include oral training, correction and assessment and syllabus enrichment classes and activities.

Self-employed/freelance work: -part time 2013-2018. During this period I studied and did private and e-learning work with students of various ages and backgrounds. I was mainly involved in teaching general bridging English to foreign learners being mainstreamed into English medium schools. I also gained experience teaching IELTS and TOEFL

Eurocentres Language School-full time October 2011 to 2013.
Language instructor at all levels (basic to private corporate). Work involves teaching, examining, creating syllabi according to needs analyses. In charge of the computer language laboratory for corporate students.

EPIK programme (Korean government public school teaching)-full time
March 2011-March 2012: Assistant language teacher at Gangwon Middle School and Sin Nam Elementary in Chuncheon-si, ROK.


SKILLS Teamwork and leadership:
Responsible, flexible and diligent colleague, able to manage classroom schedules, plan lessons and after school academic activities-for example English winter and summer camps, outings, outdoors and cultural activities
Attended various official skills acquisition and team-building programmes in South Korea and in China. I have also developed a good sense for classroom management for secondary and primary school levels including special needs and ESL students.
Languages:
Fluent in English, conversational and written Afrikaans and French, basic Mandarin. Keen and fast language learner.
Communication and technology:
Good verbal and written communication skills developed through liaison with co-workers and leading formal classes, English summer camps and informal language teaching of students and co-workers. Conversant and comfortable with standard computer and classroom technology
Extramural programs:
Experience leading and preparing for English camps and national speaking examinations for Korean middle school students. Have organised and facilitated a few extramural activities for children and adults such as hikes and social get-togethers.
